It is bounded on the south by the Severn, which divides it from the parishes of Criggion and Alberbury, and the diocese of Hereford; on the east by the river Vyrnwy, which separates it from Melverly; on the North by the parishes of Llandysilio and Llansantffraid, and on the west by those of Meifod and Guilsfield.]]></description>
