For this volume the Register of St. Edward's has been chosen, and it is believed that it will prove of interest to members of the University as well as to the townsmen. It is intended to continue this arrangement, and Volume II will contain the Marriage Register of St. Sepulchre, which is already in print, and which, it is hoped, will be followed by Conington and other county parishes.
It may be well to record here that some particulars of the Transcripts of Registers of the town of Cambridge will be found in Mr. A. Gibbons' " Ely Episcopal Records " and in Volume II. of the " East Anglian."
