Three of the five parishes which are included in this volume St. Ewe, Lanlivery and Menheniot—afford useful material for the genealogist ; St. Stephen's is rendered valuable by the inclusion of entries not to be found in the registers, while St. Winnow, apart from its own intrinsic value, is a useful supplement to Lostwithiel.
It is with no little satisfaction that the Editors welcome Canon Hammond amongst the list of contributors. The prefatory note which he has furnished and the extreme care with which he has extracted the Menheniot Marriages, are such as might be expected from a distinguished scholar.
